Not too many people. But perhaps this adorable dish towel from Anthropologie can make it a teensy bit less of a chore.

I love the library, especially on a rainy Friday like today. There's nothing like browsing through rows and rows of books, smelling all those wonderful musty library smells, and listening to "Love in the Library" on my ipod. Mmmmm.
If I happened to live in NYC, I would be heading to the New York Public Library right now. While I was there, I would pick up a set of these beautiful bird magnets from The Library Shop. Aren't they sweet? There are 24 different magnets featuring birds and nests printed on vintage images of London and Paris. If you don't live in NYC, don't despair! You too can live out this fantasy afternoon by simply heading to your local Public Library and ordering them over the internet.

I am seriously craving this splendiferous necklace from Michelle of Old Soul Jewels. Michelle created this line of jewelry to showcase the lovely craftsmanship in the smallest of common items, and to preserve them for the future. Let's show our appreciation by snapping these up!

Eva from appleandeve sent me a link to these handmade felt booties from Quiet Hours Toys. "Cobbler" Sarah Hillgrove's Diddle Dumpling line of baby and toddler shoes are made from wool felt and recycled leather. Each pair of shoes is custom made for your baby's feet.
After I looked at the booties I went to check out Eva's shop. She has a precious line of dreaming bird dolls that would be the perfect "extra" to add to your baby gift. She does all her embroidery work by hand from her own patterns, and it is just gorgeous!

Kevin and I are finally getting walls in our new (old) house. We've been remodeling since November, and now we are finally getting somewhere. So, I won't be posting any fun birdy finds for a few days, unless any of you guys want to post for me. Thanks for being such loyal readers!!

Wow, this wallpaper is gorgeous! I'm dying to order it for our new guest bedroom. Design for Delight was started in 1999, and is located near Amsterdam. They specialize in fabulous home decor, and lucky for us, they have a great online site.

Here's a lovely way to store all that loose change. This handprinted linen bird wallet has two compartments (one with a zipper) for sorting all your odds and ends. Design team John Booth and Arounna Khounnoraj founded bookhou design in 2003, and their shop is brimming with unique, well made goodies.

I just discovered Feather Your Nest, an adorable shop located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. For all of you that aren't lucky enough to live here in Arkansas, don't worry, they also have a super cute on-line boutique! My favorite section is "housekeeping," and I think I'm going to have to order a pair of those fabulous gloves. I just can't decide between the "Yellow with Orange Hibiscus" pattern or "Pink with Peachy Rose." What do you guys suggest?

Ohh, I love finding new artists! These bird prints by Outi Harma are so beautiful. I put the "afternoon" print as my desktop background, and it makes me smile every time I look at my computer. You can buy Outi's prints at her etsy shop, and you can visit her website for more information about her artwork.

I'm loving Jonathan Adler's latest pottery collection, Utopia. The Birdcage Jar would look especially nice in my kitchen. You can find the complete Utopia line at Hazelnut New Orleans. If you haven't been to Hazelnut yet, shame on you! Design team Tom Cianfichi and Bryan Batt have extraordinarily good taste, and you can spend hours browsing their lovely online catalog.
